With a dual 4 ohm sub, is it ok to run each channel of a amp per coil. The amp I have does 150x2 at 4 ohms, 500x1 at 4ohm and is not 2 ohm stable. The sub I am considering is 300rms(JL Audio 12W3v2 dual 4 ohm). So I want to connect each of the amp to a voice coil. Will this harm the sub?

I am uneasy about getting a version that can run at 4 ohms because it will be overpowered a lot. The amp is a usa-150x
