| So I finally got my system installed!!! I had to scale back a bit on the HU as I wanted navigation too much as part of it.
Anyway, here is what I did:
HU - Pioneer AVIC-D1 navigation. It has two slots - one a CD slot and the other a DVD slot for the nav disc
Camera: Rear view Backup Camera
Front Speakers - Focal 165K2P midrange and the TN52 tweeters
Subwoofer: Single Focal Utopia 27WX 11 inch
Amps: Zapco C2K-2.0X sub amp and Zapco C2K-2.5X component amp. I also bought the high voltage balance line Symbilink cables right from the HU to the amps in the rear. No low voltage RCA cables in my setup.
Tons and tons of sound deadening.
How does it sound? I guess it sounds good.
I have nothing to compare it to...... so don't know how good it is. I turn it up and it brings a smile to my face, so I guess it must be OK.
Anyone in the Oakville, Mississauga area with a very good SQ system that would like to meet up so that we can compare sound quality? I just want to hear another persons good SQ setup to compare mine with. |
