i dont think any one needs to fight....caps are what are used heavily in amplifiers to assist in the switching of current....no need to fight on this one....open it up and see them....i dont think that you will find any amplifier nowadays that doesnt use caps....all you are doing is reinforcing the powersupply when you do add one.....

and no matter what anybody says.....a cap is good for a systems sound. now if you have a crap headunit and crappy amps and crappy speakers.... a cap might not be the choice of upgrade to help out the system...

but if given the choice of a cap and no cap.....sure....a cap will help...a common system..
