Not for a single driver....

If you are doing a sealed box anyway, they are fairly forgiving of small errors in box size...I believe the average displacement for a 15" is around .3 to .5cuft.

If safety is more important than being able to look at the basket, I would suggest putting the driver inside the box. Less chance of damaging it accidentally, which will piss you off.....
