| If it is staying sealed, why bother knowing how much airspace there is. A decent estimate can be done figuring just the trapezoidal area created by the wood - it looks like the small extra space the stretch parts of the fleece adds is roughly similar to what the driver displacement is anyway.
Doesn't matter how solid it feels - add bracing from that baffle to the floor and to the front panel. Then line the inside with fiberfill and I would expect it to mellow out.
