Thanks for your reply. I have decided to go with the L port and extend the port a few more inches to further reduce the tuning frequency.

My biggest problem now is that the box is only 16" tall and I have to put two 15" subs in it... I am planning on cutting out the driver holes after assembly but i think they will be too close to the top and bottom for T-Nuts...

One other question: If I don't inverse mount the drivers, will it be too close to the port? They have a mounting depth of just over 7" giving me only 3" of space to the wall...
