| I have purchased an Infinity 1211a Monoblock amplifier. The rated power is 854W RMS at 4 ohms or 1300 W RMS at 2 ohms. My questions is what 2 * 12 inch subs would be a good match for this amp? I am currently looking at the Infinity 1230W because they are blowing them out at FS this weekend but I am wondering if they would allow the amp to be used at its potential or if I would have to really turn the gain down. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
The rating on the 1230W is power handling nominal 300Ws and power handling Max 1200 Ws. Impedance is 4 ohms. Would this amp shred these subs?
