True... but there are very few amps that blow that easily.. even if they're abused beyond belief.

Hell, I've crossed over the pos/neg on a Earthquake D2 (which are notorious for being faulty) and didn't have it blow...

You're right, poor installation can blow an amp, but the numbers I've seen from these amps is unusually high.
