if you have a sealed box, turn the subsonic off, if you have a ported you probably want it on
Low pass crossover 30 - 200Hz should be set low enough so that you dont hear voices coming from the sub.
As for gain, set your volume to 3/4 and keep turning the gain up untill you start to hear slight distortion. Leave it there.
As for slope either one will be fine
