Hi, I have the exact amp you have, the Alpine MRV-F540, it's a great amp but I had the componant speakers Type S from alpine and didn't like them at all. I would suggest to keep your Infinity or grab another decent 6 x 9's. The MRV-F540 is rated at 50w rms @12v, a car produces 14.4v and that amp is 80x4 rms @ 14.4 which 14.4 is normal running mode.
