| I had my system done within the year and been having issues with the sound quality. I was told by many people that the items I purchased were pretty good and that quality shoudn't be an issue. I notice when I crank up Metallica, Korn or any song that deals with lots of cymbols my 6x9 somtimes pop and crackle like a vinyl record at random sounds (snapping fingers, clappin, cymbol crash) just the 6 x 9's. I had 3 ways and I thought they were blown so I traded in for 5 ways and the problems still there, but not as bad. Im not sure if I need more power, "capacitor" (i was told there was no need at my local audio shop) better battery or upgrade my stock Eagle Vision altenator? I have the 12" sub and 6x9 hooked up to the alpine and the components to my deck. I just have this gut feelin the alpine amp is working pretty hard, but I was told it was good enough at the audio shop. Another thing is that I was told the tweets and mids in the front are not running to its full potential, they sound a bit washed out when I crank them up. I was going to upgrade my 200watt deck for a recent 250watt pioneer deck hoping extra power would make use of the components, but should a small amp be considered?
