little more labour intensive then what u just mentioned there...as an industry member id highly recommend u getting it installed by a pro, trouble shooting and learning by mistake is a lot easier when ur working with a fused line from an amplifier that may ground out, or crossing ur audio wires...dont mess arround unless u know what ur doing and have the right tools etc...
