The problem is how you are interpreting the specs. Max RMS is not the rating, they are 2 different things. For some unknown reason, pioneer doesn't even mention RMS in speaker specs.

From the pioneer website:
Specifications
Watts MAX. Music Power 150 Watts
Watts Nominal Power Handling 30 Watts

My opinion, (everybody has one): I've used a lot of different pioneer speakers and they'll sound best with amp RMS inbetween nominal and max.
I use a pioneer 5100T amp for each door. Instead of stereo, i run bi-amp, high-low, to each component 125 rms. My door speakers are MBQ RCE-216 rated 60-130. And, since i like loud, thats not enough to keep up with the subs and 6x9's. My pioneer 6x9's are rated 80 nominal, 420 max music and i run a bridged 5100T 380 wrms, on each.

I think the 75 watts is not enough, but like i said, everybody has an opinion.....
I've said before in other forums, the trick is to never-ever hit clipping or you'll kill speakers.
