The FRM-70 is a good speaker... however don't expect to push it hard at all if crossed at 150Hz... even though it can play somewhat linear to 150Hz... it can not do this at any sort of moderate volume.
The cone simply is too small and needs to move too much at this frequency... I wouldn't expect it to handle much more than 10w-15wRMS.
I'd strongly suggest going to a 4" driver minimum and even then up your xover freq. on them if running them active... you mentioned a 3-way set and 90% of midbass drivers can play great up to 300Hz minimum.
As chinaman mentioned... these are designed for ported enclosures, with a tuning around 100Hz the port really bumps up output in the 150Hz range and reduces cone motion drastically... the enclosures needed are very small also... if you're doing fiberglass kickpanels anyways, a small port wouldn't be hard to fit in... however try to keep tuning of the port at least a half octave below what you'll crossover the speaker at to avoid any phase issues (or group delay) with the midbass speaker.
One thing you'll love regardless if you go with this speaker is midrange clarity... vocals are very pure.
Regardless I still suggest a 4" midrange... even more so if you like it loud at all.
