| check your grounds, check all other wiring, and possible upgrade where you need to... don't know what kind of amp you have, but from the list, I see 200x2, and I can't see your car not being able to power 400w off the stock alt. unless you have other amps, or aftermarket accesories creating another draw, your battery, and alt aren't the problem.
do the big 3, and go from there; you don't have to use 0 awg, 6 awg is still an upgrade most of the time. clean any corrosion from the contacts, and possible go have you Alt tested. it might not be putting out all that it's supoed to, short of there being a probolem with the alt itself, you shouldn't have to change it.
