I was helping a buddy get started on his 1988 Chevy pickup yesterday. We got a good start on the deadener. The roof, doors, back wall and floor are done. Here's what it looks like so far.

I believe he is planning on stuffing closed cell foam in the pillars and cab corners, then deadening over those spots as well.

Now we just have to decide on what to do with the front speakers.

Anyone have any suggestions as to speaker placement in these trucks? He is not interested in kicks and we are hoping to make something a little better then just bolting them to the interior door trim panel.

He has both a 2 way and a 3 way component set, but the way the doors are desinged it makes it tough to go into the door at all. I'm thinking that we will have to build the door panels out.

Thanks for any help.
Brad
