Thanks for the imput guys and girls As far as the grounding is concerned, I have 8 runs of 0/1 wire to the place where the battaries are going, 4 for ground, and 4 for power. This will provide me with a closed circuit loop in no way connected to the stock system/chassis. In terms of the amps, they are Visonik V900XDs, which are rated at 17 volts, so I assume they will take 18 fine. I really want to run a 16 volt setup, with 4 8 volt battaries. Only problem is, I can only get my hands on 6 and 12 volts here in Newfoundland, hence the 18 volts. Any ideas on how to get some 8 volt battaries? Then it will be a 16 volt system, and I can charge with 18 volts or so, and not be afriad of being over 18 volts at comps.
