I wanted to drop the same recommendation along with Peerless XXLS (except for it's slightly bigger box recommendation), but I don't think even DIYMA sub will do good on the power available off his amp. SRX5 puts out 180w on the sub channel, doesn't it? |
Hmmm... Good point. The least I've heard someone run a DIYMA12 on was 300w. I guess even if he did have 180w, it would only put out about 3db less than with 300w.
1 cuft and 180 watts is a tough one. Maybe it's the lack of power that's contributing to the lack of depth and accuracy. Headroom = control.
