And now this weekend we have a numberous contingents of F18's from CFB Bagotville and CFB Cold Lake here to wake me up. Stinking loud at full afterburner take off right over the water. Then to make it even better, why not add a US F15 / F16 squadron from Florida here + a couple of AWACS and KC135's for Operation Trident Fury......nothing says noise like those sumbeyatches do. There goes the neighbourhood for the next 2 weeks.

At least they are all staying at the hotel with the pub I bounce at. They are a really nice group of guys.....got a real kick out of one guy <heavy accent on> "I'm from Alabama, it's 80 degrees there at night, how cold is it here now, is it below zero, let me stick my hand outside and find out" (which he proceeds to do and then pulls his hand back in and says) "I need my hoodie man, it is so cold out there, I am going to get sick, I'm going to have to run back to the lobby, damn it's cold here", he pulled his hoodie on, pulled the strings tight and buried his head in it so that his ears would not get cold and then took a deep breath and headed out the door, running to the lobby. Guy was priceless, laughed my a$$ off, funniest thing I had seen in a long time.
