| The unit was installed by the FS in Nanaimo. Her car died here in town and the GM dealer would not work on it with it in the vehicle. The original install left all sorts of issues with reliability, especially the lack of proper connections and securing things down.
The unit was removed by myself before the GM dealer would do any work to the vehicle. Once the vehicle was up and running again, the customer took the unit back to FS in Nanaimo and had it reinstalled again. Now the unit will not remote start the vehicle. I did not have a chance to look at the install this time around (newer firechicken - black) but I suspect that there is a issue with the install once again. Hopefully it is something simple. |
