I think personally it all depends on your preference, and the the car its going in.... some cars the flushed nav looks awesome... some it looks out of place.
A don't perosnally like fold down hu's as it means costly repair if it does go down.. i have had bad luck with those...
Also if you wanted nav as a must... look into the garmin nuvi 350/360 i was very impressed wiht that unit.
