| Grande Prairie is still pretty busy even with the oil shortage lately. Housing is expensive but if you look around to rent a room and such it's not to bad. I rent a brand new house with 2 others for 500/mth. apartments are around 1100/mth. Job wise you can find constructions work in a second, goto any jobsite with work clothes on and youll start that day. Eveywhere is like that. Tim hortons starts at 15/hr ft, mcdonalds 14/hr ft and superstore pays 18/hr now for nightshift stocking shelves.
