| If the prize was available to anybody, which normally they are u dont need to compete in a higher class if u win it.
Really at any competition it comes down to honesty and integrity. Were all out there to have fun but like I said before there are the occassional bad apples who decided they have to bend the rules to win. These bad apples are the reasons for some of the rules we have today in any organization.
From NASCAR having to weigh each car at end of the race or test the fuel to catch the cheats or pro sports where athletes are tested for performance enhancing drugs. IASCA, DB, Meca, etc are no different.
But I have to be honest I have been all over the World doing events and I have only had a couple of problems with people being in the wrong class for the wrong reasons. But overall I find that the sport we love and the people(competitors) who are involved are top notch and are there to have fun. |
