| Hey as most of you know im the proud owner of a van with 36 10"s in it. I finally got to do some testing with a smaller amp I had laying around (crossfire xp1400d) and it was crazy loud for about 10 min and then the amp for lack of a better phrase exploded. 2 of the mosfets are no more and 2 more a really close. The board is destroyed. I wanted to know if anyone has experience with running this many speakers off of 1 amplifier. The voltage is constant at 16.3 and the speakers sit at around 1.1 ohms. Im planning on using an ab500.1 to run it and adding another in a month but Im not sure why the amp did what it did and I wanted to know if its because of the quantity of subs wired to it. Like I said it is a 1.1 ohm load and voltage isnt a problem.
