Amp turning on and off

For some reason my amp will turn on and off randomly, I recently rewired my system so that no wires would be showing. But now this problem happens, my amp will lose its power but the cap stays on while listening to a song.

Bassworx 500W RMS Sub
MTX Thunder 600W RMS
4 Gauge Wiring Kit
1 Farad Cap

Anyone have any idea why?
