I currently have a Alpine IDA-X100 and I'm adding:

-Alpine PXA-H100 + Alpine KTX-H100 IMPRINT SOUND
-PDX-4.100
-SPX-17REF
-PDX-1.1000
-SWX-1243D

Here are my questions:

1. I will sound deaden the doors for sure but am I ok to mount the 6.5" to the plastic baffle that the car comes with if I put some deadner on first? Or should I make a piece out of MDF to mount the speaker to?

2. I will be making tweater pods on my A-Pillars and aiming them towards the glass, sound about right?

3. For the Crossovers for the front components, should this be mounted in the door as close to the speakers as possible or is it ok to mount near the amp in the trunk?

4. 16 gauge speaker wire good enough to run from the amp to the crossover and from crossover to speakers?

5. To get the best SQ, should I make a sealed box for the sub and aim it towards the front and block off the trunk? Or aim it towards the rear?

6. Is welding cable really ok to use for power and ground? Is the #4/0 welding cable equivalent to 0/1 gauge audio cable? I want to run 0 gauge power and ground from the battery to distribution blocks and then 4 gauge to the amps.

That's all for now I think.

Thanks,
Jay
