Hi Guys
I am new to the forum and this is my first post. With that being said I have 10" Alpine R's (4 ohm Dual voice coils). The amp I have is a Phoenix Gold R15.0:, incase your not familiar with that amp here as some specs:
RMS Power Output: 750W x 1 @ 2 Ohm
Peak Power Output: 1500W x 1 @ 2 Ohm
Built-In Crossovers: Variable 18dB
THD @ 4 Ohm RMS Power: 1%
Ohm Load Stability: 2 Ohm
I want to wire my subs to 2 ohms. Even though this amp is a monoblock it still has 2 +'s and 2 -'s. This is how I was going to wire it to get the 2ohm load and get the most out of my amp without wrecking it or my subs.

Sub 1
+ wired to +
- wired to -
Then run a wire from one + out of the box into +1 on amp
Then run a wire from one - out of the box into -1 on amp

Sub 2
+ wired to +
- wired to -
Then run a wire from one + out of the box into +2 on amp
Then run a wire from one - out of the box into -2 on amp

Am I going about this the right way or not so much?
