Well... guess it was bound to happen eventually.

Some f*cker jacked my subs. If anyone in the Victoria area comes across any of this gear, help a bro out and let me know!

They just got my subs and amp, 2 JL 12W3-D6's in a sealed grey carpeted box (about 3 cubic feet), and a Rockford Fosgate Power BD501 amp. The amp didn't have the end caps on it at the time, just screwed to the sub box. The subs are covered by JL grills (those fine mesh ones).

Know it's a long shot, but if someone hears about this gear for sale or getting installed, please fire over a PM.

Thanks!

Dan

I'd like to hear details...where did it happen? Did you have an alarm? I figure the more I know about theft, the better I can protect my stuff...though quite honestly I'm just waiting for the day that it happens to me.

I hope your insurance is kind to you, my friend...

Unfortunetly, I was a pretty easy hit. Truck was a '91 Rodeo, so not the most secure vehicle anyway. Amp was bolted to the sub-box in the back. I just had a few brackets on the box holding it in place. Left the deck and speakers, just grabbed the box and my CDs. All windows are tinted, so you can't see anything unless you're shining a light through the glass. No alarm, since the truck is a bit of a beater... Next time putting in the alarm before the stereo.

Pretty choked though, the truck was locked, parked in the driveway, out of site from the road. Was either someone that had been to my place, or got tipped off by someone that had been to my place.

No point on the insurance though... $300 deductible - the gear was probably only worth like $600-700... Oh well, just sucks cuz I have no free cash for another amp right now. Driving with no bass isn't nearly as fun.

Thanks Islandphile - you never know...
