I recently had a Compustar 2s9000fm(433)-AS alarm/starter combo installed into my 2004 Honda Pilot. The day of the install I didn't notice the issue that I am having. It seems like the installer had an issue finding the door triggers for the passenger doors of the vehicle and wired the trigger into the map lights. This is working fine but I think I will look into getting this changed.

It also seems like when I do use the starter feature that the interior light stay on even after I have turn the key to the on position and have started driving, they will not turn off until I open and close a door (drivers or passengers) I haven't checked the hatch or rear doors to see if the lights turn off with these as well.

I am very confident the shop that this was installed from will fix this, I will also be using this shop again as I was very impressed with the service and quailty of the work. I am just wondering if anyone else has run into this issue and it if is an easy fix or not.
thank you

Depending on how good the installer is, it should be an easy fix. I have the 2007 model and the alarm is alerting everytime it switch off from a 15 minute warm-up. I brought it back and they fixed it like 10-15 minutes. Seems like they're having troubles installing this new version. I assume some of the wiring isnt the same as the old ones...

I would bring it back to the shop and have it fixed by them. It sounds like a wrong wiring to me..
