CD Player just stopped working....

Okay, so I installed my amp and sub 2 days ago. CD player was installed a while back, and all was working well.

So today comes, everything works fine. Me (being a stupid teenager) decided to try and pound my system to its limits(it is nothing special). I was listening to some gangster beats(not my style...but good bass), and the volume was at 35. Sounded good, sub was pounding, lights were dimming to the beat(I know, was planning on doing the big 3 upgrade this weekend).

I kept raising the volume, it hit 40. Sub pounded 2 times, and then the cdplayer just went black. I was scared. I shut the car off, and then proceeded to check for any signs of blowing something. I couldn't smell the burnt smell...so I thought it might have over heated. I went to the gym, and had an hour workout. I get back to the car, still doesn't work.

I go home, and immediately check all fuses. There a-okay.
I disconnect the battery for about 20 minutes, still doesn't work.
I take out the deck, and check my wiring, all is good, but I rewire anyways.
^^did that a few times

I then proceeded to try and install my older cdplayer that works 100%. Wired it all up...that doesn't work either

I am very frusterated right now, I have yet to check with a voltmeter to see if there is even any power going through the 12v, as my father has it at work.

What the heck could the problem be?

Did you check the stock radio fuse? The one that was there before you installed anything?

umm, the fuse on the back of the CDplayer is fine, aswell as the one in the fuse box. BTW CDplayer is a Panasonic CQ-DF783U. The other one tested was an Eclipse CD3404

I have never been so confused lol

PS* Car is a 1994 Saturn Coupe. Aftermarket wiring harness is there, but I hacked into it to install the Panasonic CQ-DF783U.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated

wiring was tapped into an aftermarket harness. Has a fuse just before the HeadUnit on the 12V line. Still intact.

1 amp (Ultimate t2-1400) powering 1 RF p1 sub.
Wiring is 4awg all the way through. Fuse placed 2 inches from battery terminal, which then leads to a fuse distro block, then to the amp. Ground is 4awg under the seat, made sure there was no paint on the connection.

I rechecked for a bad connection 20 times.(exaggeration, more like 5)

And what would cause it to randomly black out? I originally thought I blew the HU...but it didnt make sense. I even tested with another HU...same thing

I am quite confused at the moment.......

Seeing as how the STOCK radio works just fine, My suggestion is Change the fuses out of the New deck regardless of "looks", and try again, if still no avail, then you might just have a POS deck on your hands

that's what you need to check it properly or use a test light... just to make sure there are power at the deck. it might even be a bad fuse.. (ones thats not blown, but got desoldered at the end cap) .

it never had a STOCK deck. It had that Eclipse. It worked. I got a hold of this Panasonic. Installed it. Worked for a month, and then this happened.

Gotta wait for the father to get in, lol, so I can use the voltmeter.

Thanks and any other help will be appreciated!

EDIT* and the eclipse radio doesn't even have a fuse, and it didn't work either.
