First of all hello everybody and nice to meet you guys. Being my first post I hope I do it right... I've been reading a lot of posts but I decided just now to write:

I have a question regarding the MTX4002 and MTX T712 in Sladge Hammer ported box.
I want to run them on a Chrysler factory stereo, do you think I will get a good sound?

And I got a deal for $650+tax for amp+sub+Stinger 4 Gauge kit + installation +line in converter.

Any opinion will be much apreciated, because it's my first kit, and I want to be sure that I'm getting a good deal.

Thank you very much for the info...

buy stuff from this forum there is always ppl selling a 1000watt rms amp for 200-800$ like i member someone had a kicker kx 1200.1 for 375$

then you get a sub from some one off here i know there is a guy with two kicker 15" solo subs and he wants 500 for both so get one for 250 and the amp for 375 and you are at 625$ then go get a wireing kit and you can do the install your self and you will ave a system that will blow the mtx 400watt amp and the subs out of the water. also you will have the pride in saying that you installed the system.. also the mtx boxes are ok but if you read up about building your own box you will be so surpized how much the custom box will do for the sound of the bass and the loudness of the bass

wow futureshop for the win.
not a bad deal though.
however, i'm not too sure as to why they sold you a line converter as the TC amps have high level in's.

it'll be fine for a first system.
my only suggestion would be to put in an aftermarket deck in the near future

Thank you for opinions guys... I donno about kicker amp and sub, but at this point my concern is that my factory speakers are crappy and a friend recommended that I should change them first, and then go for the sub and amp. So I'm debating... what do you think? I found a store on Dundas that sells 2 pair of speakers for $99...

I would hit up a few different shops before you buy something. You can get a lot better stuff out there that will be in your budget.
