Even though I posted right after F#1, I swear I didn't see that post! SORRY I am embarrassed!

BUT the 100 amp fuse makes NO SENCE, do the math a loss-less 500 watt RMS should pull 41 amps ...

so I looked it up on Crutchfield:

And they recommend 50 amp fusing... nice little amp too


So the Sub amp should get a 50 amp fuse (you must crank it to blow a 30 amp!)

now to the volt meter question, go to radio shack or canadian tire and get a CHEEP voltmeter or borrow one and see how your voltage holds up when the sub is hitting
