Ok i got LOTS of poly-fill and made my box look very comfortable on the inside. The first thing i noticed is I have a lot more bass at lower volumes, around higher volumes the bass is not much different than what it was before. I'm pleased anyways and thanks for the help.

Hmm, investigating further...

Each little box inside my box has a volume of 0.29206 cubic feet. So i need about 140 grams of poly fill per box right? Since you put a pound per cubic foot and i'm only at 0.3 of one?

unless I'm calculating totally wrong you have about .8 cubic feet per compartment, thats a huge difference over .3 one of us needs to recalculate....poly fill isnt an exact science, I'd shove 1lb behing each sub and see how is sound, then add or remove a quarter of it and see if it improved or got worse, you'll find the perfect amount this way....orrrr, go have a box built to spec of the subs.

Yeah i got the numbers from some random calculator on a google search. I think i may have a little too much in there now, i left enough room for the back of the sub and maybe 2 tennis balls, i think too much of the "pressure" is being absorbed because i'm not getting the same pumping vibrations i had before(after listening to it on my way to the train station today). I didn't really know what I was doing i kind of just bought 2 bags of the stuff and shoved it in there(it's the roll stuff not the loose stuff). I'll take it out and spread it out layer by layer when i get time, see if that helps.
