| so i have a jl audio 500/1 amp, and a power acoustics 2 farad cap. so i installed the cap and every thing propley and the amp will not power on? the cap is charged and the amp works fine so i don't know whats wrong??

| is there voltage at the cap? and just not the amp?

| Matt, you don't need a cap on that amp anyways, as it uses Jl audio's Rips system which is made to make the same power from 11-14 volts so there is no need for the cap, so get rid of it and sell it to someone else! | |

| Caps a marketing gimic to the daily driver in my opinion. Just buy a decent battery, and you'll be fine. | |

| hahahhah i wonder if i can wire it into my iPod.... mount it in the center console, people be all like damn thats a clean cap install, id be like uhuh thats my ipod battery!
