I'm looking for something along the lines of a single din Digital Watt Meter. If its capable of providing more info than just watts, then so be it, but I'm particularly interested in measuring Current/Watts.

Any help is appreciated. I would have thought AudioControl has one, but no luck

Thanks

Youd have to make one yourself, to get wattage u need voltage x amperage on the output, im sure if ur good with electronics you could build somthing that constantly multiplys the current and voltage and reads it out in a display.

but as far as just straight up buying one, i highly highly doubt ull find one, i personally havnt seen one, but thats not to say they dont exist, i just havnt seen em.

i know you can get amp meter things, they just sort of clamp around a wire and through inductance know how many amps are flowing, then just sort of multiply by 12 or 14.4, but that would only work for power lines.

What you are looking for doesn't exist, to get accurate readings is usually not all that easy.

The closest thing to what you are looking for would be this, I don't know much about it however:
Rockford Fosgate® - PowerCube®

^ the 'power cube' is basically a three dimensional graph of voltage output versus impedance at differenct phase angles due to varying capacitance and inductance.... some company sells some device to measure all this...

Anyway, there are digital wattmeters that you can buy... but anything decent is going to be expensive, and isn't going to be ment to be installed in a car's dash

I have a feeling the OP is after some install candy, in which case I'd look into installing a VU meter.. you can get analog VU meters, or ones with LEDs that light up...

look on ebay
