| Hey guy's.I'm trying to figure out the best way to run my amps to my subs.I have 2 sx1250.1 amps and 2 15"solo-barrics l7(4ohms per coil).i know i can strap these 2 amps with a minimum of 2ohm load, and my subs ran parallel will give me a 1ohm load, and in series a 4ohm load.See my problem.Would i be better off to run 1 sub per amp with a 2ohm load or strap them together with a 4ohm load?????Just trying to wire them the best way.Can someone please help me?? |

| well your best to do one per sub due to the ohms and for max power but the problem is getting both amps set the same and more so if your subs share a box chamber

| Subs are in a big ported box with seperate chambers.I'm wondering if a sxrc remote would help the set up being the amps are digital? |

| ya but you have a problem the amps are not the same. They will differ in output specs. Not alot but enough. You will need a O scoop,A RTA and a TL or other SPL meter or you can set it by ear and go from there. What are you doing with the system I should ask?

| I have no plans to compete, just for fun.I'm an old school guy who use to play with systems for myself and friends.I use to own 2 mmats hc amps and 2 mmats 15"juggernaut subs.Man they pounded.I bought this escalade with kicker system but was under wired so i ripped everything out and wired it properly.Any ideal what these L7's should hit? |

| I would strap the amps because that would give you the most output on both amps because of the minimal 2ohm load , that would be perfect . just remember to slave and master your amps with the phase shifts , that should be a good start for you.

| strap the amps to a 4ohm load
or
find another amp that make 2.5K+ @ 1ohm
Kind of a waste to have that kind of amp/sub combo with being able to maximize its potential |
