Hello all, new guy here with an annoying problem. There are alot of threads on here about electrical noise but none seem to be like mine so here goes. I have a PIONEER HU with a 4channel amp ( don`t remember the brand at the moment) and a KOSS bass cannon in my Dakota. The ONLY time I get noise is when my daytime running lights are triggered to come on.
I start the truck everything is fine
run in ACC evrything is fine
The daytime running lights are triggered to come on with this truck after it has moved a few feet and as soon as they do...HUMMMMMMMMM. If I turn the headlights on it goes away. Shut them off ...HUMMMMMM. this happens with both the cannon and the 4 way amp. WTF... This system sounds so nice when this is not happening.. I would really like to be rid of this noise.

put a new ground on the HU to chassis and check all grounds on amps to makes sure they are secure and maybe clean the steel around it. and try new RCA's sometimes cheap rca goes bad witch happends 3 days in my rca cable for the front end started to have alt noise.. changed it and its fine

sooo really it could be anything but do all grounds first and go from there

You might want to check your battery ground and maybe upgrade it as well.
