For Sale Forum brainstorming....

OK....so i'm just throwing some ideas out here:

I posted an ad in the for sale area...to notice like within half a day it was off the first page. Which is cool I could just bump it back up....but i don't wanna do that every two seconds, cause it annoys me when people do that and everyone should have their fair chance to put stuff on the front page. So i left it a couple days and bumped it up.

Thinkin more into this, i thought wow...this for sale area gets a lot of use. What if forum was split up into some more areas? Amps, subs, speakers, HU, Accessories (or whatever groups you want (ie: HU and speakers, ams, subs, accessories)

This would create more forums...and i think could be added inside the for sale as various their own forum's.

To me, this would slow things down a lil, making it a lil easier for buyers and giving sellers a lil more showcase time.


Thoughts? I'm drunk and should go home? It's been brought up, discussed and thrown out? I'm amazing and people should pay me to brainstorm more?

Great idea, maybe start breaking down the sections that you think would fit/work.

yea very good idea also in stead of the mods putting " locating and contact info price" or what ever

on the page that you type your ad why dont you guys put a spot that we have to type in the location like the title like and make it so it will not let you list the ad unless the "field" is filled also maybe put some buttons that we have to click and it makes a check mark

But put a box that we have to click and beside the "email" button and put a "field" that has to be filled or it will not let you post the ad and the same with the phone number if we click it then we have to fill in a "field" and make it so we have to click atleast 1 out of 3 inorder for it to let us post the ad.
