| Im interested in an 18v cordless drill. I went to the store and they had all sorts of drills. Can anyone tell me what is the difference between a cordless hammer drill, impact and a regular cordless drill are. I was interested in BOCH and DeWALT brands but I picked up a SKIL brand drill. Let me know what I should look for in a drill, if SKIL sucks ill exchange it for another thanks.

| I think this topic has been worn out numerous times, do a search you should find a fairly lengthy topic on it.... |

| I've got a Ryobi one+ system drill, and hammer drill as well... good quality, I've been VERY impressed (I'm an electrician, and it stands up to the deWalt, rigid and milwakee's I've used) |

| Drop the 18volt idea and go to the 14.4 volt Makita. The battery makes a great stand by power supply for all sorts of testing of various car audio items.
