Ill toss some band names at you, your best bet is to search for them in Ares or what ever you use, the most popular songs that come up will most likly be their singles but dont limit yourself to them.

The Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc. is in my cd player lots as of late.

System of a Down
Disturbed
Drowning Pool
Chevelle
Cky
Him
Godsmack
Powerman 5000
Sector Seven
Rage Against the Machiene
Static - X
Killswitch Engage
Strapping Young LAds
Tool
KMFDM
The Killer are great
The Hives
most of the "The" bands are alright
Audioslave
Velvet Revolver
Sector Seven

ive got over 45gigs of music on my computer, too many to list but that should help you.

chunk....
ever since i met the big oki at finals, and he was playing his hardcore german rock, i've found that rammenstien is really good music when you play it LOUD. it's got a good balance of midrange and bass...believe it or not. you might want to give it a try....

...another cd that i like right now is the new daft punk - we are all human. it might be a little too techno/dance for you but the songs are also good when played loud.

Throw a little Eagles on your list, its always a good time to listen to them.

Yes, yes...those are all good bands. If you REALLY want to enlighten yourself and have your brain altered for the rest of your life, then pick up any one of Frank Zappa's almost 90 releases and listen to it over and over again. Shortly thereafter you will come to own his entire catalog and never hunger for new music again.
