Whats wrong with all these new reality tv car shows ie./ pimp my ride and overhaulin spending like .5% of the show on the audio and the rest of the time makin the car look completely ridiculous 3/4 of the time... I'd love to see a car show like that which focused all on car audio.. custom enclosures.. spl..sq.. etc.. heck even a whole station devoted to it... Drool [img]graemlins/beer.gif[/img] they could even have a funky name for the statin like db-tv

overhauling is about overhauling a dudes car, though ti twas more about restoring a crap car into something pretty amazing. Unless i'm thinkin about a different show....chip foose?

I kinda like overhaulin though. And the broad on there is hot!

Overhauling is a good show haven't watched it lately due to no cable but out of all of them I watched that the most.

well the ridiculous thing was more geared towards pimp my ride.. i do quite like overhaulin and I know it's not all about the audio, but I just hate it when they bring in all these guys from kicker, jlaudio, and alphasonik and their bit's are only featured for maybe a few seconds. I'd just like to see them expose the audio a little bit more. But mostly I just want to see a show that deals with car audio specifically.

Some cars in Pimp My Ride come out looking alright. But, for the most part they do always look pretty stupid!

I can't believe there isn't a show on just car audio. There are so many dumb shows out there right now. Car audio certainly wouldn't be even close to the worst!

Overhauling is a pretty good show, they don't make the car look like crap. Most of them are really nice

Pimp my Ride is a horrible show. More often than not the finished car still looks like utter crap, and rarely the $ is spent on the mechanicals.

TLC Overhaulin' however is an excellent show IMO. They actually do a lot of mechanical work and frame work.

I think that a show based solely on the audio aspects of a car would prove really boring to anybody who doesn't own or is not interested in car audio (probably most of the viewing audience). I could see an episode or two of a certain show focusing on audio, but an entire series would definitely flop. You can only talk about the latest technology or different components for so long. But that's just me.

Overhaulin' kicks!!! The cars they build would normally take a year or more, IF you can get Foose and guys like that to commit to the work.

I'd like to see more audio as well, but it's not about that, it's about the cars and the people, the products are just a bonus for the show sponsors...

I don't know how you can put Overhaulin and Pimp My Ride in the same category. Overhaulin is amazing what chip foose can do and what he thinks of there is no one like him. Every car in that show is a work of art. Pimp my ride how ever is crap. There are very few good car. There flashy crap. Oh and overhaulin does everything you basically get a brand new car. Everything is fixed and works. Pimp my Ride is like make up on a ugly girl. It's still crappy underneath.
