So I decided to splurge and spend some coin on a good set of head phones, I dont mean like big ass hear muff headphones, I have a set of good Sennheiser ear muffs but I work outside and dont want those things to get nasty and dirty so I went out and bought some Shure headphones.

My friend bought a pair and suggested them to me, well he works at Future Shop and hooked me up with a set of Shure E3C's. The sell them off the shelf for $250cnd, but I got them at his cost Still alot of money though.

Anyways to the point of them story....they're good, not like good enough, but so damn good I felt you all need to hear about them. If your serious about your music and you want a quality set of headphones I HIGHLY suggest these you will not be dissapointed. They blow my $400 set of Sennheiser's out of the water....crisp highs and good clean clear bass.

Which Sennheiser head phones do you have? The 600 is one of my favorites with the Cardas wire upgrade, and the 580 has excellent mid and very true to the timbre. But their 570 & 590 sort of sucks.

I guess I'll be popping by a Future Shop to check out the Shure E3C.

I remember when i was in Hschool and i had a pair of Sennheiser head phones, they were about a twoonie in diameter and sounded great. Everyone made fun of me cuase it was the trend to have the smallest possible, but i had the best sounding. Damn i miss those head phones...

if you want some real headphones next time get a pair of grado's... http://www.gradolabs.com/
best headphones ever made hands down. The only thing I will ever replace my grado's with is another pair of grado's...

I have the luxury of having the Shure E3C's as well as Grado SR-125's.

I used the Shure phones for travelling as they are compact and pretty much block out noises found in airplanes. I use the Grado's at home as they are an open design and are rather large.

Anyways, I have tested both back to bach many times, and as for SQ, the Grado's are superior in every way.

Currently I use a set of Audio Technica ATH-A900 at home, but I've wanted to invest in a nice set of small headphones or earbuds to go with my iPod. Are the Shures you got headphone style, or are they earbuds? I believe the e2c are buds, unsure if the e3c are the same.

E3C's are great plugs.
I couldn't quite afford them so I went with the etymotic ER6i's and I am pretty happy with them.....still not what I am after, so I think I am going to get one of these when I get paid.

I tried one out my friends with my ipods and my etymotics and I was BLOWN away.
www.earphonesolutions.com is HIGHLY reccomended.
