ive never been a mustang guy...too mainstream for me.

however the fords ive owned in the past have taken the most abuse.

Ive had my eye on SCs for quite a few years now. Something performance based, and not so mainstream.

It's not a matter of it outperforms the vette, in reports there are many comparissons between the corvette and the mustang, but I don't think that Ford was aiming at competition for the corvette, they were just comparing the mustang to it to show that for less money you are getting something similar. The mustang's base price is supposed to be around 50K, while the Corvette starts at almost 70K. Thats my understanding anyways...

the z06 vette starts at $65k USD
the c6 is around $55k USD i think.
