| When I was a rookie yes...trophies were awesome.
So maybe do an am, Pro, and Expert level competitors just have certificates.Trophies for rookies only
Infact getting usefull stuff like a Canadian Tire gift card, or a HMV gift card, or a Subway/Quiznos gift card for $20 would be great.
Combine high classes (am class pro classe exp classes ect)
1st- $25 gift card
2nd -$15 gift card
3rd -$10 gift card
Guy the overall thing about a show is it is very expensive, and usually have little, or no return if it even makes you any money. If we want shops such as Audiowaves to keep holding events we need to support them in thier efforts and be more realistic with what to expect.
I challange anyone who has never judged to sit in thier car with no air on, for 15 mins and listen to cars.......then do that all day. You will find the price that judges ask for, isactually not on par with the job being done. And we the competitors ask for the best job to be done every time. But at the end of the day when Audiowaves asks for $50.00 for me to have trained judges, judge my car (unlike a free for all import show), and have some sort of prize (trophie or what ever) at the end of it all I think its a very reasonable.
