The fluke 321 and 322 don't measure DC current, and are not a true RMS meter.

the UEI I suggested, in addition to measuring the same AC current rating, has many more functions as well as a display dedicated to the AC clamp. You can also look into greenlee, they make some nice meters.

fluke makes a great meter, but they do'nt make them with very many features, other brands are much better in that regard.

Sassmaster is correct these are not usefull in Car audio since they do not measure DC current

If he already has a good digital multimeter, try the Fluke i410 AC/DC Current Clamp

If you are more comfortable buying in a store, there are many in the Toronto area
Go to www.fluke.com and go to Canada, where to buy.. enter province and city.

Tenaquip, Future/Active electronics etc many many places sell Fluke.

If you buy in a local store, and it is not exactly what he was looking for, you can always return it.
