who knows?? anything can happen.

I went into the last double 90% sure id break a 155 and was having some issues throughout the day of the comp that I still havent tracked down. I was 0.65 db below what I was at my house. Wasnt expecting to break a 154.5 to be honest...but right before my run I noticed something in my interior was out of place from where I usually have it. Didnt think it would give me that much of a bump but Im happy it did.

Im in a bit of a delicate position with my setup because if I blow a sub the wait and price for recones are rediculous. Id have to either totally revamp my setup with 3 subs or buy 4 totally different ones. So I dont let the full wang out all the time to back up my scores. I treat my gear nicely and it does the same for me.

We should have a "master" sticky topic somewhere on the forums (SPL section?) containing all the Canadian top certified scores for each class. Obviously, this will require a person to commit to keeping it up to date, or multiple people if this forum is set up with that option. This has been done on other forums, but was never maintained properly. If the author of this thread is willing to take the responsibility, I am sure we could just move this thread to another section.

i agree ... we should help each other ... the main goal is to see as many loud canadian competitors in finals as possible !!!
we should help one another to be able to achieve that ...

canadians helping each other? LOL thats the biggest joke. here is why i dont help canadians....

1. 90% of canadian spl competitors dont know 10% of what they are doing, sorry but u cant help those - they need to help themselves first.

2. very few people know what they are talking about, why would a person like that help someone who's nearly clueless?? thats not helping EACH OTHER, thats just making the clueless guy louder while he's still clueless....oh wait thats already happens in canadian spl more than anything.

3. when i go to finals or shows in the US, conversations with US competitors usually prove to be useful and productive. I learn by asking questions about their set ups. In Canada, a conversation with an spl competitor is useless cuz 90% of the people, as clueless as they might be, will try to give u the stupidest advice on your own set up. i hate that. What makes this worse, is when i asked if he/she had tried this in their own set up and they say "No, but so&so said it would gain".

4. some people just do not want to get help, they want u to make them loud, make them a loud box, gain them 10 db's, etc. so sick of this.

5. people wont take your advice b/c it contradicts with another advice someone else gave them or its not what they wanted to hear. poeple try to make spl into exact science, if it was there would have been a book on it. people do not understand that you have to test, test, test, test and test more. instead i see lots of people taking advices from people who did do the testing and then pick and choose from the pool of advices they collected as to what they will do to their own car.........while they should have been testing instead.

i can go on and on but u get the point.

i think before we can talk about helping each other, most people need to help themselves first.

LOL ... father Yuli strikes again .... heheheh
if you want someone to put the truth out there as blunt as possible let Yuli say it ... hehehe
He is right on the biggest point TEST and guess what more TESTs no 2 setups are the same !!!
What works for one might hurt another you just have to find what works for you even something as simple as the angle of your sun visor ... anyways i'm sure we all got Yuli's point ...
GET A METER AND RUN TESTS ...
