Im thinking of doing some End of Year awards at the Sept 9 show. Since it is the last CSPL show and our last multi point db drag for the season I figured we can do some cool awards at this one.

You do not have to be a competitor to participate in this, everyone is welcome.

Basically, I just need your ideas on who should be considered for the following categories.......

Competitor of the Year
Rookie of the Year
Team of the Year
Most Improved Competitor

and possibly....

Best Sophomore
Year's Biggest Noob

Please try to list more than one person or team for each category. This is not for who you think should win each category (that we will get to later), but rather a group of people or teams in each category who you feel are good candidates. I know alot of people have their favourites, but please list even those who are not your top picks but still hold some weight, or others you would pick if your top pick did not exist. Ideally I am looking for you guys to list 2 to 3 names/teams for each category, if possible. The more names we get on the list the funner this will be.

Remember, one individual can fall into multiple categories. Feel free to list yourself and your team in any category you feel appropriate.

Here are some basic criterias you might want to consider in addition to your personal thoughts and feelings when naming people......

- how often does one attend shows

- how helpful a competitor is

- competitor's spl gains durring the season

- how many formats (db drag/cspl/iasca/other) does one compete in

.......these are just some ideas

Remember to name as many people/teams as you can/want, regardless of them being already named by someone else. I guess this is mainly for Southern Ontario, but we can consider our Quebec friends as well.

AMP/SPL Inc are non-bias when it comes to this so here is our feedback on this matter. To avoid bias choices, each nominee should have reason (accomplishments) to show their nomination. Here is an example by showing who we think and why.

Competitor of the Year

FOB/SPL Live - Yuli - He is a very well known and strong competitor. He helps everyone that he can, he promotes, judges and competes.

Chris Barclay - We will not mention team names because Chris gave up competing this year due to becoming a multipoint judge which Ontario really needed.

Team XMAX - Eric- Loudest Street Car in Canada. Eric doesn't speak any english but will help anyone with a translater near by. Eric uses old equipment.

Yaniv Dadoun - Yaniv travels from Quebec to support not only all of the shows that he can but also all of the orgs that he can.

Rookie of the Year

Mike Harris - Aint this kid from North Bay? He travels to all the shows that he can and supports different orgs as well.

Team of the Year

MTA - We cant go to a show without seeing these friggin guys! Doesnt matter what org we attend, MTA represents!

Most Improved

We will wait for Peterborough and Barrie to nominate.

Rookie of the year,
that Cody guy Yuli mentioned for sure!! He went into a higher class and just gave it his all at many shows!

Mike harris, Just cause he travels WAY to much(like Yaniv) and is just a happy guy all the time!!

All-tech, Always see at least 1 of there cars at a show and they seem like a bunch of nice guys!!
Downtown sounds, Frank is a Nice guy and has a good team!
