It has been posted here, I wanted to show Americans that it's good up here in Canada. This will encourage GROWTH in the Canadian Car Audio Scene, and eventually make more people come here.

I appreciate Frank and others standing up for me as they know I only want the scene to grow.

See I don't agree with this. It's pretty clear that this site is obviously used as a business for financial gain. There is no hiding it, I know admincca and GTCars don't try to hide it. By saying that you are pretty much saying for everyone to take our posts which drive the business elsewhere.

That would be like someone working at Mcdonalds telling someone to goto Wendy's.. it's not very smart for business now is it?

quite Frankly, no pun intended, I seriously doubt the americans give a rats ass about how the "scene" is in Canada, as they have a few bigger problems they have to deal with... like a war... having a bush... brittney getting chubby... that mortgage thing... not a pretty scene...

If you'd like to reassure dBDrag about the participation factor and score a few points with SoundStream as well, that's a different story.

Unfortunately shops like to Talk about getting into it for the love of the "scene" but secretly their definition of the scene has the end result of exploitation of the scene for their personal benefit, which brings us to the next point.

Cause if i recall correctly, you charged us when we did the CCA show. Mind you, wasn't a lot of money, worth the service IMO, none the less, you charged me. Didn't your wife compete, she didn't pay though.

You see Chris, you're very much like me. I provide a service, for a reasonable price. When people debunk the efforts of the team here, it makes me wonder.

Again, we don't say/claim this is a business, we have always said there is a business side to it. The server isn't free. Upgrades aren't free. Giveaways aren't free. Maintenance that i cant do myself, isn't free. Stickers, not free. Nothing is free here except for you and others to post.

With the exception of some industry people who believe they're owed this service for free, there is generally no issues.
And at that, we charge business' for this service to promote and generate business.
In my eyes, someone who receives payment for a service generally isn't doing it JUST FOR THE LOVE OF THE SPORT.

You deem me a business, i deem you a business. Yet, we don't charge you to promote your services.

And further more, if i recall correctly. You and your friends have already tried to create your own forums to debunk the efforts of CCA, how is that going?

I am personally telling you; if you, FrankB or others cant follow the rules, leave. Its in FRANKS best interest to play by the rules, hes the one with the business. He may or may not be interested in taking part on the forum as a vendor, but i cant see why he would want to burn bridges. But if he he or others want to, BURN AWAY.

It's the end of the summer, i gave it all a fair shake and have seen how many have operated, the love of the scene is code for HOW DO I GET PAID.
I attended more than a handful of shows, no one complained or had much to say there with the exception Jeff and Nick. Neither were rude, we talked, i met them for the first time. In fact, i don't think much of anything has been said to them for a long time.

Chris, i actually like you. I believe in the service you provide. I think people like you are important to the scene, thats why you're having a chance to say anything without being banned. Imagine if you were from another part of this country, you might not even have a chance to finish your sentence without being banned

My phone is available for calls, i will always discuss and work something out with people. Despite what people think, this site hardly pays for all my exotic cars

You can choose to not agree with it if you want, but it's how I feel.

Lets be honeset, I get absolutely nothing for the time I spend cleaning up the crap on this site or dealing with people who feel the need to swear at me and mouth off. (not saying YOU do it, but other people do!). Not to mention the basic jobs of approving/verifying access for the void and general clean up and maintenance. Hell, I don't even get to advertise my own business on here despite the work I do. I'm sure you can see why I have no sympathy for others who do nothing for the site yet expect to be able to use it for advertising of their own.

So, if the people who can't follow the rules decide to take their trouble elsewhere it really is beneficial to me because by staying here they do nothing but make my life more difficult.


ps- yes, I know it's shocking to think I don't get paid for all the fun that goes on around here, but it's true!!
