Well I'm starting this post to get some feedback and see everyones thoughts on getting a 3X event here in May.

Just some quick information. The 3X dB Drag event would be in conjunction with a Sport Compact event happening the same weekend. The event is IMPORTFEST and they're having an event in May at Downsview Park. It's going to be a 2 day event and they're looking at adding an audio competition to the event.

what we talked about yesterday is being looked into as well.

just an FYI on a few this.

-electrical is being looked at
-Host Hotel is being worked out as well
-vehicle will be permitted to leave at the end of the night if they choose to do so.
-as for the overnight parking there will be lots of security there including POLICE overnight which will watch over the entire area. there is no way to house the vehicles indoors overnight for the duration of the night. as well I dont see that being a problem since most events that are outdoors dont have a seperate indoor parking area at night for vehicles.
-there will also be trailer parking

If you are looking for Americans you have to compete with Carlisle. That may be tough.

understood Rich however I was at the event last year and can tell you that they didn't have more than 40 people. I assume that this event will draw more than that amount of competitors. Taking into account the local people and all the surrounding areas in Ontario, Quebec and of course the US. Aside from the 3X there is the show itself which has a lot to see and do.

As I said this is a post to get some feedback.
We can either have a 3X dB Drag Event or if you guys want we can get an IASCA event instead (no insult inteded towards ISACA)

i say db drag. or maybe even both?
