| Chris, as far as I know, the only event it may interfere with at Audiothunder will be the bikini contest ... I heard it was at 5 pm.
I would imagine most of, if not all, the dB Drag competition for the day will be done. So it shouldn't interfere with anything happening at the show other than that. If there is still something happening at that time and some people might be late, I will be at the show so you can let me know there and I will post a contact number for those who will be arriving a bit later.
For those who don't know where Mobile Dynamics is located, the address is 25 Kinnear Court, Unit 4, in Richmond Hill. It's just off Highway 7 if memory serves me correctly and is very easy to get to. There is ample parking (no charge) and I'm hoping to have signs posted on the road near the school to make it easy to find.
Once again, I hope to see many of you there ! [ February 14, 2004, 09:10 AM: Message edited by: Moe Sab ]

| For those taking the judges training, I have just secured a special hotel rate through Mobile Dynamics with the Best Western Hotel on Highway 7.
Room rates will be $79.00 per night (if I remember correctly - may be less).
To book a room, contact Tammy Tunny at Mobile Dynamics (905-882-5175) and she will make arrangements for you. I would imagine that she will be able to confirm the rate as well.
I would also like to personally thank Derek Lee and his staff at Mobile Dynamics for all their help; they have gone out of their way to help us get this training session going and if you're talking to them I would recommend you thank them as well.
See you there!

| I am interested in this, however my knowledge of car audio systems is almost nil. Would most of the material covered be over my head?
Is there any way you can provide us with some sort of list of topics that will be covered and the detail of technical knowledge required? I really want to go but am hesitant because I might be in over my head....... |

| IF you're at all considering to compete in IASCA, worth taking the course even if you bomb. It's not a cake walk but it doesn't require a degree in nuclear science either.
As far as conflicts with Audiothunder, weather is always a factor. I think it's a good 30 to 40 min from the airport area to Richmond Hill on a nice day. Hwy 407 is an option as well cutting down the travel time.
This is an awesome opportunity. Definitely don't miss it. |

| I got your email SilverGS, you're on the list. Man, that list is getting big too ! So far we're looking at close to 35 people !
As dawg said, it's a course you don't want to miss. It deals mostly with sound and quality of installation, and how to judge it. Even if you don't compete, the knowledge is invaluable in doing installs, setting up systems, measuring RTA and SPL and basic car audio knowledge.
I look forward to seeing everyone there !
